New Zealand - Day 17

After a supermarket breakfast we walked around Nelson, visiting the Cathedral before we found the jeweller Jens Hansen, where the One Ring was created for the movies. After much umming and ahhing, Jen decided to buy the silver version to wear on a chain. After that we headed North, planning to get to the northern tip of the South Island, but heavy rain drove us back, so we bought magazines and had a lazy day at the motel reading and watching movies instead.
