The future of music sales
Radiohead have made a record. So far it’s only available from this site. You can order it in these formats: Discbox and Download.
I’m gonna say this once and once only. Stay out of Camberwick Green!

I had pre-ordered it too.
Got the link this morning.
Wadya think of it?
And if it’s not indiscreet, how much did you give?
I went from the principle that I’d pay the same amount as on the iTunes Music Store, knowing all the money actually goes to them, instead of being plundered by the middle-men.
PS: question is related to their “name your price” concept for the download version.
I’ve only listened to it once so far, but first impressions are it’s very good.
I paid 7 dollars and just got the download version without the box. I might’ve paid more but the website kept breaking and annoying me.
Yeah, when I saw the website, I almost felt compelled to email them and offer them to just redo it for them. :p Then I realized that I’m dealing with an experimental group of artists, and that the f’ed up site might actually be *on purpose*…
Still, now that I’m moving to Plank Design at the end of the month (see url below), I might just do that.

PS: I’m [somehow] thinking there might be openings at the WSG in the near future if you’re still interested. I’ll put in the good word for ya, for what it’ll still be worth.
With the (not totally surprising) news that there will not be a technical career path at McGill my only options are to stay where I am, move sideways or move out. Moving sideways to WSG is definitely something I would consider.
Congrats on the move, although plankdesign.com seems to be down this morning so I can’t see what you’re getting yourself into.
